Dr. Arash Tirandaz, MD, FACP - Chairman & Chief Medical Officer Dr. Tirandaz is the Chairman and Chief Medical Officer of Tiba Medical. He is also the founder of Internal Medicine Associates of Plano, the immediate past Chairman for the Department of Internal Medicine at the Presbyterian Hospital of Plano and has previously served on the hospital’s medical board. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Texas at Austin, received a Master's Degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Houston at Clear Lake and graduated from medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He received his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham. He has been in private practice since 1996. |

Merat Bagha - President & CEO Mr. Bagha is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Tiba Medical. He holds a Masters of Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington and dual Bachelor's of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, both from Oregon State University. Prior to founding Tiba Medical, Mr. Bagha served in a number of technical and management roles at Intel, RadiSys, Rubicon International and Enron Broadband Services. Mr. Bagha is responsible for the strategic management and day-to-day operations of Tiba Medical, including product development, regulatory affairs, marketing and sales. |

Dr. George Porter, MD, FACP - Medical Advisor Dr. Porter is an independent Medical Advisor to Tiba Medical. Dr. Porter is the past Chairman of the Department of Medicine, and the first Chief of the Division of Nephrology, Hypertension and Clinical Pharmacology at Oregon Health & Sciences University in Portland, Oregon. Besides hypertension, his research interests include the use of urinary biomarkers to identify toxic injury to the kidneys, and the value of serum biomarkers in chronic renal failure patients. In 1997, he was the recipient of the International Society of Nephrology’s E.G. Bywaters Award for life-long contributions to the field of Acute Renal Failure. Dr. Porter's primary focus in the OHSU clinics is the education of Nephrology fellows and residents. Dr. Porter completed his Medical School, residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowship in Cardiology at OHSU, as well as a fellowship in Nephrology at the University of California, San Francisco. |
